NISO is sponsoring the implementation of MathML in Chromium

NISO has received a grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation to support the implementation of MathML in Chromium.
We are very happy to announce that Igalia has just received the confirmation from the National Information Standards Organization (NISO) about the sponsoring for the work related to support MathML in Chromium.
Last August NISO announced that they have received a grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation to support the implementation of MathML in Chromium. With these funds NISO becomes the primary sponsor of this initiative covering the project roadmap defined on this website.
Igalia is really grateful to NISO and Alfred P. Sloan Foundation for trusting us to develop this work. We’re still drafting the final plan but ideally everything should start moving by the end of the year or the beginning of 2019.
